Six room types, two views, one choice to make
The hotel sells four room types in a Mountain View or a Valley View version, plus two suites you have to phone about. Here is how they line up for someone who will spend most of the daylight outside.

The resort's about page counts 100 rooms and suites. Travel Alberta and Indigenous Tourism Alberta list 110; I use the hotel's figure. The hotel page calls the rooms recently renovated and describes the choice as mountain or sunrise views. Every room has Wi-Fi, a safe, a mini fridge, a microwave and a TV, plus access to the pool, waterslide, hot tub and gym.
The line-up
| Room | View options | Beds and the feature that matters |
|---|---|---|
| Two-Queen | Mountain or Valley View | Two Queen beds; the hotel pitches it at small families and groups |
| King Room | Mountain or Valley View | One King bed |
| Junior Suite | Mountain or Valley View | King bed, pullout sofa bed, electric fireplace |
| Jetted Tub Suite | Mountain or Valley View | Separate King bedroom; two-person jetted tub in the living room |
| One Bedroom Suite | Call for availability | Living room with couch, lounge chair, 47-inch TV, fireplace |
| Family Suite | Call for availability | King bedroom with its own bathroom; Queen bed and sofa bed in the living room |
Mountain View or Valley View?
The hotel's wording is the only guide I have. Mountain View pages talk about beautiful mountain views. Valley View pages say spectacular sunrise views. Nothing on the site says which floors or which side of the building each view sits on, and I am not going to guess from a satellite picture.
How I would choose: if you are up before dawn for a trail anyway, the sunrise side is a small reward for the alarm. If you arrive late and leave early, the view matters less than the bed layout, and the money question belongs to the hotel's rate on your dates, which our desk can ask about. Put your preference in the notes box and the desk passes it on as a preference, not a guarantee.
What every room page lists
- Gym, waterslide and pool access
- Shower and soaker tub
- Desk
- High-speed wireless internet
- Television
- Mini fridge and microwave
- In-room coffee and tea
- Iron and ironing board
- Hair dryer
- Individual climate control with air conditioning
- In-room safe
The about page gives every room a 47-inch TV; Travel Alberta says a minimum of 43 inches. The Jetted Tub Suite page lists a 43-inch TV in the bedroom and a 55-inch TV in the living room.
Things the hotel does not publish
Square footage, maximum occupancy per room, cot and crib policy, and which rooms are accessible. The One Bedroom and Family Suites carry a call-for-availability note, so they are not bookable in the usual way online. If any of these decide your trip, write it in the request and the desk will ask before quoting. You can also read the hotel's own list on its rooms page.
Rules that come with every room
Check-in is 4:00 pm and check-out 11:00 am. Photo ID is required at check-in, and a damage deposit of up to $500 can be taken. Rooms are non-smoking, with a $500 cleaning fee if that is ignored, and cooking appliances, including your own coffee maker or rice cooker, are not allowed. The plain-language version is on house rules explained.
