Meetings, retreats and weddings at the junction
An Event Centre, six meeting rooms from 208 to 1,800 sq ft, a hotel and parking for hundreds of vehicles. For a team retreat with a hike built in, the location does a lot of the work.
The resort publishes its own events package, dated Fall 2025, plus pages for corporate events, weddings and the Event Centre. The figures below come from those. Room rental fees are in the package; I leave them out because they may have changed.

The Event Centre

Three official sources give three sets of capacities. Ask the resort which applies to your layout.
Terms planners should know
- A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit confirm the event.
- Final numbers are due 14 business days before; billing is on the guarantee or attendance, whichever is higher.
- All catering is by the resort; no outside food except celebration cakes. Buffets run 1.5 hours.
- Food, beverage, AV and set-up carry a 20% service charge and 5% GST.
- Group room blocks are held until 30 days before the event unless agreed otherwise.
- Cancellations within 30 days may carry fees.
Retreats with the mountains in them
The package lists add-ons arranged by the events coordinator: horseback riding, rafting and float tours, helicopter tours, snowshoeing and hiking, and Indigenous cultural sessions such as beading workshops, a dance performance and a paint workshop. My own suggestion for a team day is free: Barrier Lake Interpretive, 2.5 km one-way and 100 m of gain, ten minutes from the meeting room. Mind the group size limit of 15 on that trail.
Weddings
The resort's wedding page offers plated or buffet catering, a complimentary menu tasting for the couple when the wedding has 50 or more guests, and a 20% booking code for guest rooms. Special drinks must be arranged in advance; outside wine carries a corkage fee. Tours are by appointment. The resort's pages: weddings, corporate events, Event Centre.
How our desk helps groups
For rooms only: give the dates, the number of rooms and the mix of room types in the form, and say it is a group. The desk asks the hotel for a block and reports back. For the event itself, the resort's events team handles contracts directly; we do not sell meeting space.
