The site and the stay
Accessibility
Two separate questions: can you use this website, and can the hotel meet your needs. The first is our job. The second we can only answer by asking the hotel.
This website
- Text sizes scale with your browser settings; nothing is fixed in pixels that matter.
- Every image has a text alternative; illustrations are labelled as illustrations.
- Tables have header cells and captions, and wide tables scroll inside their own box.
- Every form field has a visible label; the icons beside them are decorative.
- A skip link jumps straight to the content.
- Motion is minimal and there is no autoplay.
- No third-party scripts load on page open; the map on the home page loads only if you ask for it.
The resort
The hotel's room pages do not describe accessible rooms, roll-in showers, grab bars or elevator access, and I could not find that information elsewhere on its site. That does not mean the resort lacks them. It means you should ask before you book. Put your needs in the request form and the desk will ask the hotel and report its answer in writing.
Trails
Alberta Parks describes the Marl Lake Interpretive trail as a 1.5 km loop, 3.1 km return from the Elkwood Amphitheatre parking lot, and recommends a companion for wheelchair users because of grades and distance. It is 65 km from the hotel near Upper Kananaskis Lake. Marl Lake trail report.
